Montan Wax Romonta Granules are a high-performance mineral wax manufactured in Germany by Romonta GmbH. Extracted from lignite (brown coal) and refined under controlled conditions, Montan wax is known for its high hardness, excellent gloss and superior polishing performance.
Supplied in granule / prill form (dark brown to black colour), this imported grade is widely used in polish formulations, investment casting, carbon paper and specialty wax blends.
Unlike vegetable waxes such as carnauba, Montan wax offers stronger film hardness, better abrasion resistance and improved chemical stability, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.
