Semi refined paraffin wax 56–58 is a partially refined petroleum wax characterised by a controlled melting range of 56°C to 58°C, making it suitable for applications that require a balance between workability, flexibility and thermal stability. This grade retains a measured amount of oil, which improves binding, lubrication and processing ease, while still offering acceptable colour and solid structure.
Because of its specific melting range, semi refined paraffin wax 56–58 is widely used in high-volume candle manufacturing and industrial processes where fully refined wax is not technically or economically required.
The 56–58°C melting range provides:
Easier melting at lower energy input
Good flow characteristics during mould filling
Controlled solidification without excessive brittleness
Improved performance in warm and moderate climates
